Warehouse Person / Van Driver

We are recruiting for a Full time Warehouse Person/Van driver for our client based in South Gloucestershire located midway between Gloucester & Bristol. Duties include working within a Warehouse environment, receiving and storing boxes of files/documentation in to the warehouse. In-between duties you may be required to make up boxes in preparation for incoming deliveries. At times, you will also be required to locate customer's files from various sections of the warehouse to send out upon request. You will need good organisation skills to work with company processes. The need to be computer literate is required, in addition, experience of using hand held scanners would be an advantage. You will be required to drive a van when needed to support the company delivery schedule. Deliveries will usually be local with the furthest being Exeter. This can be a physical role and you will be required to lift or move boxes up to 10k at times, the need to be physically fit is required. Due to location of company it would be preferable that you have your own transport. Skills Required: Previous Warehouse experienceOwn transport (Preferred)Valid driving licence (no more than 6 points)Computer literatePhysically fit Due to the nature of the work, a DBS may be carried out during the course of your employment with the company. Hours of work, 08.30am until 17.30pm Monday to Friday only with 1 hour for lunch- overtime may be available. This position will be a temporary to permanent position after the qualifying period.
