Due to continual expansion I am recruiting for a number of Support Worker ??8.42 per hour for a large, highly reputable and prestigious organisation based in Gloucester area who are one of the countries market leaders within health and social care The company ethos includes supporting clients with their individual needs and to realise their maximum potential along with supporting all staff with progression and first class, comprehensive training programs.

This is a full time permanent vacancy paying ??8.42 per hour, offering exceptional levels of career progression, training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities of Support Workers:

*To support people with varied and complex disabilities to maintain their health and wellbeing while they enjoy and achieve to their potential
*To deliver all aspects of personal care inline with CQC and care plans including washing, dressing, oral, toileting and feeding
*To support students within an educational setting
*To support people displaying challenging behaviour ensuring safety is paramount
*To plan, organise and support high quality leisure activities
*To communicate effectively and work as part of a team
*To ensure all records and documentation are accurate and maintained
*Administering medication inline with care plans after receiving appropriate training
*To deliver high levels of customer service when supporting the service users
*To work flexibly between the sites/ units
*You will be required to work on a rota system including earlies, lates and every other weekend

Person Specification for Support Workers:

* *Experience within Health and Social Care is advantageous but not essential
*Experience working within a learning environment is advantageous
*Experience working as part of a team
*A desire to work towards National Diploma Level 2 and 3
*Effective record keeping and reporting of information
*Strong organisational skills
*Proactive and hardworking individual
*Demonstrate sensitivity and empathy
*Flexible to work on a rota basis including earlies, lates and every other weekend
