An exciting opportunity to join an established and stable precision engineering company, who specialise in the manufacture of engineering plastics for various industries. . They are recruiting for a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer based in Bridgwater, Somerset, paying a negotiable salary plus benefits.
Job title: CNC Miller/ CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer
Salary: Competitive salary
Benefits: Pension, bonus, 28 days holiday
Hours: 6-2.30 and 2.30pm - 11pm (rotating each week)
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Duration: Permanent
The CNC Miller / CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer will have completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship, and be time served as a Programmer / Setter with knowledge of either Mazatrol or Fanuc control systems. You will also have a history of working in precision engineering producing small batches and one offs, as well as high volume runs and be able to work from engineering drawings.
The ideal CNC Miller/ CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer will also have experience on CAD / CAM and will enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Candidates for the CNC Miller / CNC machinist / CNC programmer will need to demonstrate the ability to work from engineering drawings to produce machined parts and components to deadlines accurately.
