Mission Planning & Control Customer Support
6 Months - Bristol

A fantastic prospect has arisen for someone to join the Mission Planning & Control Customer Support team in a world leading, globally known company, based in Bristol on a 6 month basis. The successful candidate will lead the engineering Customer Support activities for a fixed amount of Mission Planning products. The role is fundamental to the support of the export Field Service Engineer, as well as being a key activity for both domestic and export customers. The candidate will be proactive and optimistic in their approach to customer and user management plus take systems responsibility for the receipt, reporting, assignment, analysis and resolution against all queries.

The candidate's daily tasks will include:

*Maintaining the ability to support products up until they are withdrawn from service, as well as establishing the technical specifications and cost brochures for In Service contracts, from mid-life updates and refurbishment to overhaul.
*Managing the In Service technical support activities for all Mission Planning & Control Solutions customers, while working closely with Customer Support Services and the Project team to enable direct customer engagement.
*Making sure all stakeholders work together to achieve the agreed project schedule and budget requirements.
*Handling the technical issues from customers.
*Informing and keeping on top of appropriate KPIs and metrics involved with the support activities.

The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships with the Customer Support Services and the Project lead to enable appropriate assistance at Change Boards and Defect Review Boards, as well as the user communities so that technical queries from customers can be managed. They will also have to deliver in service contracts, work packages and tasks, reporting on time, cost and quality, while managing technical facts analysis and the impact of product evolution and explaining the necessity of having obsolescence and software management to the customer.
