Digital Development Director - Gloucestershire

Salary ??40,000 - ??50,000

We're seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Digital Development Director that has the confidence to inspire both clients and colleagues to drive business and strategy. This job will be located in Gloucestershire for a long standing, full-service marketing agency.

Key responsibilities:

* To engender excitement and inspire confidence in both clients and internally - fronting key presentations and pitches as required
* Developing strategies and ensuring their delivery through a leadership style that is assured and personable combined with real energy
* To meet key performance indicators in respect of client satisfaction, business development, profitability and quality of output
* Although not a developer role, the role may support as the technical conduit between the client, other agency partners and the internal team in solving issues that arise
* To drive all projects and translate the customers goals and objectives into tangible digital solutions
* Strong understanding of key digital channels including site build (small scale), search, social, email, mobile and display

Key requirements:

* A strong knowledge of all things "digital" is imperative, including the ability to lead conversations with other digital experts - often from other client roster agencies - and with clients
* Strategic thinker, good business acumen, grounded in digital marketing
* Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills at a senior level
* To have a wider understanding of the marketing, data and brand issues involved in any project, in order to put in context the specific requirements online
* Experience in briefing digital media specialists, evaluation and assessment of responses and interpretation of results
* Ability to interrogate incoming queries, often from non-technical individuals, and understand the nature of queries or issues rose
* Knowledge of fundamental digital business issues and key developments
* People management experience would be useful
