Warehouse Operative
-Full-time position 7:30-5:30 Monday to Friday
-??7.50-??8.00ph DOE
-ASAP
-Yeovil based
-FLT Licence desirable
Smart Recruitment are assisting a local traditional organisation based in Yeovil in sourcing there next Warehouse operative. This is a great opportunity to join a local organisation that looks after their employees. Our client supply businesses and the medical profession with medical and office supplies. This position is based in their warehouse and requires a fit individual this is a manual role that requires heavy, and repetitive lifting.
The role involves the following:
-Ensuring stock is kept in allocated locations, advising when changes are made.
-Accurate booking in of goods and returns
-Picking and packing products
-Liaising with Production Supervisor/Team Leader to ensure Works Orders reach production in time.
-Picking, packing and checking orders prior to despatch.
-Other general duties
What we are looking for:
-Experience within a warehouse environment
-A strong attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills
-A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable
