Temporary Supported Living Housing Assistant
We are currently recruiting a Temporary (6 months) Part Time (18.25 hrs per week) Supported Living Housing Assistant based at our Leeds office.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Supported Living Housing Assistant to work within the Supported Living Team to provide effective and efficient administrative support to a busy team.
Providing support to the housing team, you will be a central point of contact for information and the first point of contact for incoming calls into Progress Housing Group from support agencies, tenants or their representatives responding to requests for services and information.
You will be responsible for collecting information on support hours and inputting information onto computer systems in respect of support hours, new tenancies, housing benefit, liaising with local authorities, service commissioners and support agencies as required.
You will ensure council tax exemption claims are made promptly, input and maintain CORE records, and update appropriate databases delivering a professional service.
This is a crucial post in the department and so you must have excellent administration, communication and organisational skills, enthusiasm and a flexible approach to problem solving and the ability work to tight deadlines. You will be committed to customer service, have the ability to prioritise tasks and work largely unsupervised.
