JOB TITLE: Support Worker
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP7.65 - GBP7.75 per hour depending on qualifications
WORKING HOURS: Full Time + Bank Opportunities
THE COMPANY: Our client is one UK's leading providers of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs in community settings. They are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Support Worker to join their friendly team in Rushden or Peterborough. They need enthusiastic, dynamic, trustworthy and compassionate people.
THE ROLE: For the role of the Support Worker you will be key in assisting in the delivery of support and care for service users to enable them to live as independently as possible. The care will involve a programme of personal care and household management that is personalised for each service user. This is a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity with the chance to join a fantastic company who offer excellent development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities for the Support Worker role to include:-
• To support service users with managing their daily activities
• To support and assist with personal care
• Completing domestic and household duties
• Overseeing / prompting the patient to take their medication
• Deal with personal finances, to include paying bills etc
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Support Worker you will be a reliable and flexible team player. You will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. You share the company's goal of delivering excellent care to the service users and you will need to live within a commutable distance to Rushden or Peterborough.
Key experience essential for the role of Support Worker :-
• Experience of working within a care environment is advantageous but full training is provided
• Flexible with your working hours which include 12 hour shifts
• A full UK driving licence is essential
