Vehicles Logistics Coordinator - Luton - 6 months FTC
We have a 6 months fixed term contract available for a Logistics coordinator based in Luton. You will be responsible for the monitoring and analysing all transportation of the logistics vehicles operations, according to the customer??s requirements and 4PL strategies, managed by Outbound Operations Manager.
Requirement
- Daily monitoring and controlling vehicles from plants, compounds and ports (destination both exports and domestic market).
- Daily contact with 3PL (carriers and compounds), issuing transport orders, confirming capacity and allocating pending orders.
- Liaise with shipping agents, compound operators and other 3PLs daily to ensure all issues are recorded for resolution.
- Arrange load trials and ensure compounds/carriers reports are completed and filed.
- Use MIS and Office software to manage the day to day business effectively.
- Use detailed forecasts and shipping/build information to ensure shipping and storage capacities.
- Produce, monitor and analyse reports/issues relating to daily operations
Essential experience
- 2+ years' experience within logistics, coordinator/tracking cargos
