Capita are an industry leading provider of bespoke systems and applications and we have an exciting opportunity for a Bid, Sales and Marketing Executive to join our world class Software and Technology business.
We have world class systems that we are immensely proud of and as a Bid, Sales and Marketing Executive you will be the first point of contact for interested customers. You'll act as a system guru and consultant to them. This will include responding to formal requests for information, meeting with potential customer and presenting the capabilities of the system and answering their questions, hosting workshops and writing proposals.
When you're not onsite with customers or working on live bids you'll also work with marketing to promote and ensure our content is up to date maintain and configure the presales demo system and get involved in product testing.

What you need:
Ideally you will be an accomplished Bid, Sales and Marketing Executive! However we are aware that there may be excellent people who could do this role however have not formally sat in a presales environment -maybe you have been a system super user and held the relationship with the system provider, maybe you've rolled out system training and done testing - we'd like to hear from you! We're also interested in anybody who has used a System Accounting or E-procurement system previously.
The skills needed for this role are:
Excellent presentation skills
- You will be presenting to and doing live system demonstrations to prospective customers so will need to thrive in this setting.
- You will need to be understand and answer customers questions. Understand their needs and propose possible solutions.
- We need to gather, assess and create clients' technical specifications and requirements. We also customise and configure the system according to what our customer has indicated they need for demonstrations so you'll need to be comfortable making system amendments and changes.
- A large part of this role is to respond to customer requests for information and formal bid and tender requests.
