Assistant Catering Manager

Salary Level 4 SCP 19 - 22 (£19,443 - £21,339 FTE. Actual salary dependent on hours which will be discussed during interview but likely to be 23.5 hours per week, term time only).

We are looking for an additional Assistant Catering Manager to support our Catering Manager in running an efficient and effective school lunch service.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and have at least 2 years' relevant experience:

• Being exceptionally flexible about hours worked.
• Excellent customer services skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales in a very busy environment.
• Extensive food knowledge with the ability to cook from scratch and present fresh food to a
  consistently high standard.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with the team and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a calm, mature and professional manner.
• Good communication skills
