£25,694 - £29,854 + benefits package
Lakeside School, Liverpool
As Pastoral Manager at Lakeside School, part of the Witherslack Group, you’ll help us meet our pupils’ emotional and social needs and lead our Pastoral Team. You’ll help transform the lives of up to 32 SEN pupils aged 5 to 13 – educating, inspiring, engaging and realising their potential. You’ll have plans in place to see that our pupils – whatever their needs, have dignity and respect and leave the school feeling proud of what they’ve achieved and what they’re capable of.
Our new Pastoral Manager will be committed to fulfilling the potential of each and every one of our pupils, no matter what their educational needs (including emotional, social and mental health difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and speech, language and communication difficulties). You will share our belief that all children are capable of achieving great things. With a focus on attendance, behavioural, pastoral and welfare issues, you will aim to maximise the learning opportunities and ultimately outcomes for our children.
You’ll ideally have experience of working with children with complex education needs, as you’ll need to connect with our pupils – understanding what makes them unique, and working to make a real difference to their social and emotional development.
For our children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. We are a leading provider of specialist education and care for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties, complex learning needs and challenging behaviours. We have a reputation for excellence and of achieving the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re creating life opportunities where none existed before.
