Powder Coater / Sprayer

Due to high customer demands we are looking to employ a Powder Coater/Sprayer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing and cleaning panels and letters before spraying.

• Ensuring that all parts are sprayed correctly.

• Organising high priority jobs.

• Inspecting completed jobs to ensure a quality finish.

• Work to ensure that the inventory of powder and other related materials: filters, spare parts etc. are maintained to ensure that production needs are met.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring materials are cleaned from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from spray heads, and hoses.

• Needs to be reliable and available for overtime when required.

Skills and Specifications

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated whilst recognising the importance of being a team member. They should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and high standards of attention to detail.

They will possess the ability to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment.

Applicants should be flexible to work overtime and some weekends

• At least 2 years powder coating experience

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to resolve application problems

• Be proactive in offering advice and ideas on a number of different finishes

• Able to work in an environment with PPE

Working hours:

Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm

Friday 8am-3:30

Salary £9-11 per hour depending on experience.
