Due to significant growth in the curriculum area, we are looking to recruit a Lecturer in GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths, with a demonstrable record of outstanding student achievement, to drive our continued success in providing a high quality teaching and learning experience and a passion for ensuring student success.

As an ambitious Lecturer, you will work closely within the Division of Maths and English to ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of the delivery of GCSE/Functional Skills Maths and you will also be expected to liaise with cross-college areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.

As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

With a relevant degree level qualification, and a PGCE or Certificate in Education, you will possess knowledge of GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths specifications and of current issues in Further Education relating to the curriculum area. You will also have the ability to display excellent teaching skills in the delivery of GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths to adults and/or 16-18 year olds.
