This Regional Business Centre Manager is a key business unit leadership role reporting into the Managing Director of a highly successful group which manufactures, distributes and installs industrial and specialist doors and provides a comprehensive service and repair offering. Well-known in its market place with strong brand identity it operates through a network of six regional centres from which it sells its products and supports its broad-ranging client base through the provision of a diverse product range of dooring solutions, installation, repair and maintenance. 

Key development for the Regional Business Centre is the immediate growth of the service and repair offer to the Birmingham and surrounding areas establishing Arrow as the first choice partner for 24/7 service and repair support. As Regional Business Centre Manager for the Birmingham business unit you will run a P&L and focus on growing the business whilst ensuring that the service offering and customer satisfaction experience is world-class. You will be supported in this through an experienced team in administration, field engineering, surveying and telesales. The Midlands region has significant growth potential and the newly appointed business centre manager will be expected to maximise this. 

The Regional Business Centre Manager will need to combine logical thinking ability, commercial acumen, attention to detail, leadership skills and a passion for right-first-time customer service. Your early training will be in engineering and you will have excellent capabilities in leading both service and sales. Knowledge of and experience in the industrial door market is highly preferable but the client would also consider other avenues focused on products used in the building environment that require service elements – air curtains, forklifts, building technology, building interiors, access control, M&E and HVAC to name some. Given the depth of its industrial and manufacturing client base in the Midlands, experience of providing service contracts through plant leaders and heads of manufacturing is critically important.
