Are you a qualified RMN with NMC registration and a good understanding of care plans and named nursing systems? Would you like to be part of an organisation that counts on the professionalism, insight, expertise and passion of its staff to inspire individual recovery for the people they work with? Then join us as a first level nurse.

Recovery Focus is a new group of expert charities with the shared aim to inspire individual recovery nationwide. Between us we have a track record of more than 200 years of developing and running personalised services that work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions. Each partner organisation has its own rich history of success, but together we believe we can lead the way in evidence-based recovery pathways, tailored to meet local and individual needs.

Right now, one of our partners, Richmond Fellowship, is looking for a first level nurse to join the team at Moor View in Halifax. A registered care home providing 24 hour nursing care, Moor View specialises in supporting people with complex mental health problems. But, it’s only possible with the help of people like you.

Your challenge? To help provide excellent nursing care and support to clients and make sure the services we provide are of a high quality. We’ll also rely on you to strive to meet each individual’s needs and aspirations and encourage a participative environment that enables residents to gain increasing independence and develop their full potential. Taking special responsibility for allocated clients/residents by helping them formulate and pursue a positive personal development programme will be important too, as will supervising volunteers and less experienced staff.

Ideally with some nursing experience in residential work or a related field, you’re used to carrying out practical duties and supervising others and committed to meeting client needs. The ability to prioritise and plan work and deal effectively with personal stress is also essential, as is a desire to develop. What’s more, you have excellent communication and team working skills and are comfortable being part of a flexible rota system that includes weekends, evenings, waking nights etc.

In return, you can expect some great benefits, plus exceptional support in the shape of an Individual Learning Action Plan. You’ll also be encouraged to undergo additional training in order to add more strings to your bow in terms of your career development opportunities.

So, get inspired today. Visit our website and take the first steps towards a more fulfilling future.
