Back End Developer
Oxford, United Kingdom

I'm seeking an experienced, practical developer to take charge of the development and deployment of the Back End software platform that supports a unique software product to extract health information from video. The platform will be required to gather data, monitor, and manage software updates for large numbers of Embedded devices spread across multiple end user sites. The Back End developer will be responsible for designing and developing the platform server software and client software, and will work extensively with the rest of the development team to integrate Embedded device C++ software into these systems. If you are looking to take ownership of the creation of a challenging new software platform, and enjoy working in an energetic, and outgoing team, then I would love to hear from you.

You will need proven experience in:

* Experience with distributed and robust networked systems (eg IoT)
* Experience of developing and maintaining databases in robust, high load applications
* Developing Server Side and client side software using a variety of languages and tools (eg Python, Flask, Django, PHP, Javascript etc.)

It would also be beneficial to have experience of security and encryption including communications and data storage, C++, and health data and/or video protocols (eg HL7, Onvif, RTSP)

The successful Back End Developer will join a team that describes itself as being innovative and fun, full of highly intelligent, motivated and high achieving people and will work on developing a product that is truly ground-breaking. The company is a well-funded start up with a work environment that is envied by all who see it. Highly innovative, creative, collaborative and vibrant, they are a unique and special place to work with the potential to change the world.
