Commercial Sales Executive - The Yorkshire Mafia

The Yorkshire Mafia is responsible for the biggest B2B conference and Exhibition in Yorkshire, as well as the biggest Business Week in the UK. We re looking for a determined, driven, team player who is willing to go above and beyond to help us to achieve our goals! We have ambitious plans for the future so we re looking for a commercial executive that can grow with us.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year sales experience
  • Must be comfortable face to face and on the phone
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Consultative, relationship led approach to sales cycle
  • Ability to upsell and cross sell over numerous event
  • Organised and able to work on numerous projects at once
  • A team player who is willing to go above and beyond
  • Self-motivated and hard working
  • Proactive in all aspects of the role
  • Willing to take on lots of responsibility
  • Positive attitude is key!
  • Must have a driving license
  • Proud of Yorkshire (but not necessarily from Yorkshire!)

About the Role:

As a Commercial Executive for the Yorkshire Mafia, you will be responsible for multiple commercial relationships for our current and future events; whether that be exhibition sales, sponsorship or long term partnerships. You will be part of a small team which will mean you will be given the opportunity to have a lot of responsibility and autonomy over projects. You need to be passionate about working with people, able to build long lasting relationships with our strong network base, and willing to go above and beyond to help us execute our exciting plans! You will be a positive person with a resilient outlook. This is a really exciting time to become part of the Yorkshire Mafia, as we grow and expand as a team, increasing our horizons beyond what we've ever managed before!

About the Company:

The Yorkshire Mafia brings together executives and stakeholders from the Yorkshire Business Community to meet, network, share experience, learn, build relationships and ultimately trade (where appropriate). This is all done in a relaxed and sales-free environment. We're responsible for Buy Yorkshire, the biggest B2B conference outside of London, as well as the biggest Business Week in the UK, Leeds Business Week. We run networking drinks evenings every month across Yorkshire, giving you unbelievable exposure to a network of Yorkshire Business Leaders across our glorious county!
