Salary: GBP19,000 + 15% shift enhancements and salary enhancements for skills learnt

Location: Preston

Working hours: Permanent, full-time. Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm; alternate weeks + Overtime available

We are currently working with the leading global manufacturer and marketer of high performance adhesives, sealants, encapsulants and polymer coatings. Their high performance products are used in a variety of markets including aerospace and defence, automotive, recreational vehicle, bus, truck and trailer, rail, marine, insulated glass, solar wind, assembly, electrical and electronics.

Due to positive business development they are currently looking to recruit Production Operatives for their manufacturing plant in Preston. You will work as part of a team ensuring the smooth running of the production facility including batch making, mixing vessels, handling solvents and loading.

To be successful as a Production Operative you must:

• Have previous experience working with chemicals for example, paint and solvents
• Be literate, numerate and prepared to work shifts
• You will need to be physically fit.
• Dedicated and willing to develop your skills within the business
• Hard working and able to work in fast paced environment
• Work well within a team and on own initiative
• Hold a reach forklift licence.
