Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational school training young people in classical ballet in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet.  Based one mile from the city centre in Edgbaston, the school was recently judged to be excellent in all areas by ISI and outstanding in all areas by OFSTED and has an international reputation for the quality of its work.

The school is seeking to recruit the following staff to start January 2017 (or as soon as possible thereafter):

Assistant Houseparent (full-time) 

We are keen to hear from candidates who have additional skills that can be utilised by the school.

Successful applicants will work in Boarding Houses under the direction of a Houseparent and with the support of the pastoral middle leadership team.  They should have proven skills working with young people and experience of a boarding environment.  Applicants should be highly motivated and keen to become involved in all aspects of the school’s work.  Applications from those offering skills that relate to the vocational dance environment and a holistic educational ethos are most welcome.
