Regional Manager - North Wales
Salary £28,000 FTE (22.5 hours per week).
2 year fixed term contract (home based) with frequent travel in North Wales (and occasionally across the UK). For the purposes of this role, North Wales includes Ceredigion and Powys Some overnight stays, out of hours and weekend work.
Ability to speak and write both English and Welsh is essential.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Macular Society; a national sight-loss charity based in Andover, Hampshire. Macular disease is the most common form of sight loss in the UK. We run a busy Helpline, Counselling Service, fund research, campaign for improvements and provide volunteer-delivered services. We have over 300 local peer support groups across the UK and more launch each year. The post will recruit, train, develop and support local Macular Society groups and volunteers in North Wales (including down to Ceredigion and Powys). Help us strengthen our network in this region.
