Arriva TrainCare requires a Graduate Commercial Co-ordinator to join the team based in Crewe with national travel. You will receive a competitive salary of £20,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday per annum plus statutory bank holidays, Pension, Healthshield and Arriva travel pass on completion of probation period.

Arriva TrainCare provides Light and Heavy Train Maintenance services to the railway industry from its five strategically located maintenance depots. About the Graduate Commercial Co-ordinator role - what you will do:
As part of the Commercial function, you will gain exposure to and get a real understanding of all the key business functions within Arriva TrainCare, from the bid process through to heavy maintenance project delivery.
This is a vital support role to the commercial team, providing administration support, tracking critical bid spend and managing Ad-hoc Work Requests from Customers, from initial customer contact through to commercial billing.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to hone your commercial skills on real projects. You will be immersed in diverse business issues as you get involved in high value contracts, identifying risks and developing innovative and creative solutions. You could be supporting internal teams, navigating through complex issues or handling financial modelling. Liaising with our diverse range of customers, partners and suppliers across the UK, you will develop your expertise through on the job learning and participation in the Arriva graduate development programme.
About you - what you will need to be successful as our Graduate Commercial Co-ordinator:
We are seeking a results driven and detailed orientated individual of graduate calibre, with a genuine interest and talent for business – you will have confidence, self-belief and be full of integrity. You will have the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships by earning trust and gaining the respect of others.
You will have a good standard of education, a minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant business / commercial related subject, excellent IT skills and hold a full UK driving license.
Importantly, you will need to demonstrate that have learned from a variety of life experiences, have broad life skills and know how to apply a common sense approach to everyday situations. This together with a passion for our industry, proven business acumen and a desire for success.

Ideally, the Graduate Commercial Co-ordinator role will be based at our head office in Crewe, however, we will consider basing the role from Bristol, for the right individual. We offer a starting salary of £20,000 pa and participation in the Arriva group graduate development programme from 2017 onwards. We will also support your professional development.
