Lord's Cricket Ground is owned by M.C.C. - Marylebone Cricket Club and is known worldwide as the Home of Cricket. Our main retail operation trades all year round - with additional in-ground stores for MCC Members, Middlesex County Cricket Club Members and match day supporters operating throughout the summer months. All stores offer a wide range of souvenir merchandise, sport and leisure clothing and gifts for everyone - purchases made as a memento of a great Lord's experience.

We are looking for strong candidates who are capable of providing essential analytical support to the Retail and Merchandise team by managing all elements of stock records management, stock ordering, stock control and stock allocation across the business through the accurate application of defined processes and procedures.

This wide ranging and varied role would suit someone in a similar role who is looking to gain further experience and autonomy, currently fills a junior finance role, or someone with solid experience of retail store procedures and operations, looking to extend their skill set and broaden their responsibilities and duties.

Essential Criteria:

Required skills and experience

We will expect candidates to have a solid analytical mind, strong numeracy and literacy skills, plus operational experience of stock control, stock management and retail buying processes and procedures. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential for this role. Experience of working in a retail organisation, preferably within a sports environment, would also be also desirable. Excellent communication and time management skills would be advantageous.

Normal working hours will be 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, but as additional in-store working and mandatory attendance on all major match days is required, a flexible attitude to work is essential.
