We are currently recruiting for a number of vacancies within our Manufacturing team based at our Advanced Wound Care Facility in Deeside, North Wales.

Shift Lead:

  • Responsibility for Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, CI, Quality within their respective operation and with matrix responsibility for broader departments.
  • Ensures a Continuous Improvement environment and challenges the norm to keep driving improvements
  • Assuring an optimized manufacturing operation that complies with all relevant quality and other regulatory standards.
  • Providing leadership in quality, through regular discussions with complaints teams and non-conformance and CAPA boards
  • Resource planning
  • Supports network optimisation, new product and process introduction

Manufacturing Process Owners

  • Line level responsibility for production output, including task management of technicians, planning, CI, quality, EHS and training
  • Managing all the day to day aspects of line operations
  • Promoting effective corrective and preventative actions to eliminate gaps
  • Resource planning
  • Network optimisation, new product and process introduction
  • EHS and Quality leadership

Process Technicians

  • Work with the process team on line to deliver against targets and make engineering improvements
  • Provide engineering skills for effective technical support and maintenance of equipment/processes.
  • Responsible for day to day activities, ensuring lines are run in accordance to quality standards
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting techniques and planned maintenance requirements for each process.
  • Assisting with changeovers and machine set up
  • Complete line sheets and maintain SIC boards ( Short interval control)
  • Complete batch records and ensure accuracy of all relevant production documentation
  • Material management


  • Data input and maintenance of internal business systems such as SAP, CaptureIT
  • Completion of administration associated with multiple processes, including batch record accuracy, batch record closure.
  • Manage Transfer request tool
  • Liaise with suppliers where required
  • Raise pre-approval authorization and purchase requisitions
  • Reporting of variances, downtimes, by Unit/line to Managers
  • Assists Managers in conducting thorough and careful analysis of data

Process Operators

  • Responsible for day to day activities; ensuring lines are run in accordance to quality standards, packaging, changeovers & machine set up, In process checks, material management and First Piece inspection and line clearance
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of processes; apply troubleshooting and problem solving techniques
  • Complete line sheets and maintain SIC boards ( Short interval control)
  • Manage shadow boards and Daily autonomous PM's activities
  • Complete batch records and ensure accuracy of all relevant production documentation
  • Material verification and transfer

Essential Criteria:

Shift Lead:

  • Degree, or equivalent qualification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Demonstrated experience in progressive leadership roles in manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated experience in the MedTech or Pharma Industry

Manufacturing Process Owners:

  • A-Level qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience of Quality systems and CEDAR
  • Proficient with PC programs i.e. Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), SAP
  • Demonstrated experience in the MedTech or Pharma Industry

Process Technicians:

  • Craft technician qualifications i.e. NVQ 4, specified PLC qualification, C&G, ONC/HNC, BTEC in an appropriate Engineering Discipline, or equivalent
  • Production or Process Maintenance Engineering experience in a complex manufacturing organisation within the Textiling environment
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse technical problems, develop appropriate solutions and implement those solution through effective business plans
  • Experience in developing successful new systems, practices, procedures within a manufacturing operation


  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard
  • Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices and Environmental Health & Safety standards.
  • Experience of Quality Systems

Process Operators:

  • Educated to GCSE standard or relevant Vocational Qualification preferred
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for technical / analytical skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing operation, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
