Production Resource Required

Fairline Yachts are recruiting to expand our rapidly growing Production team across a range of skill sets.

We manufacture a premium product and are looking to employ professional and committed trades people, able to consistently produce work of a high standard. You'll have a ‘get it right first time' attitude, with a view of maximising quality, productivity and minimising waste.


  • Be a proficient user of a full range of hand and power tools to cut and shape materials
  • Follow schematics to meet the requirements of the boat layout
  • Experienced in working with high quality materials
  • Shop fitting experience would be advantageous

Bench Carpenters:

  • Create and assemble components to construct high grade furniture
  • Be able to competently work from technical drawings
  • Match materials for colour, grain and texture, giving attention to the features of the wood
  • Cut, trim and shape timber to ensure secure fit and perfect finish
  • Experienced at working with hard woods

Paint/Lacquer Sprayers:

  • Adept at setting up, cleaning and maintaining the spray equipment
  • Ensure the materials are prepared and mixed to the colour and consistency
  • Thorough preparation of surfaces
  • Careful and attentive application of products including high gloss polyester and paint lacquer products to produce an unblemished finish

CNC Operatives:

  • Effectively plan machining based on work orders
  • Programme, set up, load and maintain machines
  • Ensure production of materials to required specification and standards
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Experienced with using sheet timber

Stage 1 Fitters:

  • Be able to competently work to boat build documentation 
  • Assemble GRP components to create the correct layout and structure of the vessel
  • Accurate installation of a range of items from glazing units to teak decking to steel components 

Engineers/Marine Engineers:

  • Work to boat build specification documents
  • Construction of dashboard and installation of specified components
  • Build and installation of the engine into its bay
  • Installation of propulsion and stabilisation systems 
  • Fit, connect, check and testing of all marine equipment to ensure vessel functionality

Full training will be provided.
