Maintenance Attendant - Mercure Tunbridge Wells

In this key role, it will be your responsibility to ensure all maintenance work is carried out within the hotel as instructed by the Property Manager. You will be required to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Legislation and Company Policy. You will also work within budgetary constraints and with due consideration to energy conservation. The main focus of the role is painting and decorating whilst we undergo ourexciting renovations throughout the Hotel. However, the position willalso develop your carpentry, electrical, plumbing and general maintenanceskills across the Hotel's facilities. To succeed within this hands-on position you will be highly organised, havethe ability to work under pressure whilst sustaining excellent attention todetail and completing tasks to the highest standard. We are looking for someone who is a team player, able to build effectiverelationships across the Hotel team and are comfortable with interacting withour guests. This position is offered on a full time (35 hours per week) permanent basiswith flexibility to work weekdays, bank holidays, evenings and weekends isessential. Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous howeverconsideration would be given to candidates enrolled onto a relatedapprenticeship programme.
