An exciting opportunity for a T&D / L&D professional to join a unique transformational training company and manage a team of trainers delivering to Blue Chip clients

Head of Training / T&D Manager - £50k+ London or home based by arrangement

The Role

The Training & Development Manager will manage a small team of remote Training & Development professionals to deliver training programmes using an existing, proven and immensely popular set of 70+ modules to meet clients' training needs. You will also work with the Managing Director to create and deliver the standard procedures required to run a high performing training team - delivering client based training yourself as and when the occasion demands. Responsibilities include:

  • managing, engaging and motivating a small team of "remote" trainers
  • creation of standard operational work procedures
  • standardising existing modules into fixed workbook templates
  • design & delivery of exceptional training programmes to meet clients' training needs
  • supporting sales team in consultation with clients / lead on designing new programmes
  • recruiting / training new trainers on new material / courses as they are developed
  • managing delivery of roll-out of programmes / events / materials / induction programmes
  • reporting on activities / costs / performance / deliverables / results

The Person

The ideal Head of Training / Training & Development Manager will have their own proven experience in a relevant hands-on training sector with the ability to manage a small team of remote trainers. You will be delivery focussed, capable of working to targets and deadlines with your own strong personality and approach. Verbal, written and presentational skills, entrepreneurial flair and the ability to think both creatively and commercially are essential!

Benefits on offer for the successful candidate are private health care, pension scheme, company phone and laptop. The position can be home based with regular weekly travel to Central London.
