When global automotive retailing group, Lei Shing Hong commenced with its first Mercedes-Benz dealership more than 45 years ago, it started on its journey to become the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz retailer. Our UK dealerships operate under our corporate business LSH Auto UK Limited, with 9 dealerships in the Birmingham and Manchester market areas.

Due to continued business success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of a Warranty Administrator at Mercedes Benz Birmingham.

What will I be responsible for?

As our Warranty Administrator, you will efficiently administer all agreed warranty claims in accordance to manufacturer guidelines to minimise company exposure to warranty write-off and debits. You will also ensure all policy & procedures are fully adhered across the company at all times. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
  • Receive all job cards with agreed warranty items and input all claims details and produce warranty invoice and transmit to warranty provider
  • Identify from warranty returns parts for return and those for disposal and inform parts department of action required
  • Check any claims rejected and resubmit errors or in conjunction with manager investigate why rejected
  • Return documentation for rejected warranty items for re-costing by service administration
  • Participate in warranty audits as required
  • Ensure that the image and levels of customer service within the department is in line with company standards
  • Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, and that any unresolved problems are referred to the job holders immediate supervisor
  • Ensure that within their area of operation all Company and Trade Associations policies.
  • Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times.
Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Warranty Administrator who can demonstrate previous experience within a similar role in the automotive industry. As a minimum standard you must possess
  • Keyboard skills.
  • High Attention to detail.
  • Analytical & methodical approach
  • Product and skill training.
  • Previous mechanical experience an advantage.

In return for your hard work as our Warranty Administrator, you will be entitled to a competitive basic salary of £25,000 - £26,000 and a great range of benefits including access to our employee car scheme and a bonus of up to £6,000.
