An advanced seed-stage start up in the medical imaging industry is looking for a senior operations manager capable of constructing, implementing and managing all of the commercial operations of the company. This role will be at the heart of the development of all current and future products and services, and the person in charge will be directly responsible for delivering growth.

The successful COO will be a dynamic and inspirational role model with several years of experience as an operational manager in a tech company.

Applicants must have:

* A good first degree in engineering, physics, computer science or equivalent, as well as a further degree (Master's, PhD) and ideally an MBA
* Agile project development and management experience
* An understanding of ISO13485 QMS, and experience in setting up the processes under it

It would be ideal for the COO to also have experience in medical imaging/MRI technology.
The successful COO will be responsible for establishing a commercial operation under ISO13485, and will ensure a smooth transformation of the company from a start-up in late stage development (pre-commercial) to a full-blown self-sufficient company. They will need to understand a highly technical field and must be able to offer feedback to the R&D team on the design and business models.
