Old English Inns have over 100 unique pubs and pub / hotels, set in rural locations and steeped in charm and character. With informal table service and beautiful settings, this is perfect for a manager who has come from a branded food operation background with a similar style food service.





The Business



The Three Moorhens is situated close to Hitchin Town Centre on a busy roundabout .The A1 is an approx. 5 minutes' drive .The business has had a substantial investment which has enhanced its original character .The site offers Carvery on a Sunday along with an established Golden Years menu throughout the week . The business consists of an open plan bar with a large garden and Patio area (approx. 300 covers ) there is also has a children's play Area , There are approx. 50 car parking spaces , The site caters to all ages ranging from Families to OAP's


Average weekly turnover: GBP17k
Split Wet/Food: 40 Wet/60 Dry

What we are looking for

As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the successful management of the business. With fantastic people and social skills, you will be able to build friendly, efficient and effective relationships with your customers and staff. With previous supervision or team-leader experience, you will be committed to motivating and developing a fantastic team. You will have a real enthusiasm for hospitality and will be customer-focused and passionate about delivering excellent service. With the ability to follow and maintain procedures you will be driven to ensure strong standards across the business. Ideally, you will also have an awareness of P&L and will be able to work to achieve budgets and targets. With a proactive and positive attitude, you will be excited about career progression and will be constantly looking for ways to develop both yourself and the business.
