Business Analyst / Solutions Architect required for a fantastic dynamic company in Worthing. Candidates must be experienced and live within a comfortable commute to Worthing. Our Client is an independent energy supplier so if you have experience in this industry, it would be an advantage.

Salary: 40-45k p.a.

Role Profile Summary for the role of Business Analyst / Solutions Architect:

1. Can run & manage required outcomes from workshops and user sessions
2. Elicits detailed requirements and delivers fit-for-purpose solutions
3. Can identify and deliver process improvements
4. Manages relationships and stakeholders at all levels
5. Bridges any gaps between IT and the business through excellent people skills
6. Can multitask and work on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team
7. Can consistently deliver to agreed timelines through planning and priority setting
8. Shows clear communication both verbal and written
9. Demonstrate ease of use of BA methods, quality assurance and best practice
10. Understands and can implement appropriate QA throughout the development lifecycle
11. Takes ownership of the quality of their delivery through the development lifecycle to ensure the smooth transition into a live service/function
12. Lives customer service
13. Can fill any knowledge gaps through their own initiative to understand the industry, improve BA techniques and introduce best practice into the workplace
14. Builds solutions through collaboration, challenge and creative discussions with developers and users (not simply building what is being asked for)
15. Has the ability to find the root cause and subsequent appropriate solution to a given challenge
16. Experienced with collaborating with offsite and offshore teams to deliver solutions

Technical
1. Creating business requirements
2. Creating functional requirements
3. Creating technical specification
4. Creating test scenarios/cases in support of the requirements
5. Proficient in the use of key analytical tools, Visio, word, excel, wireframes… etc. 
6. Experience in formal methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL…)
7. Requirements techniques (swim lanes, flow charts, UML, context diagrams… etc.)
8. Industry knowledge – advantage
