ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (Maternity Cover)

Competitive salary and benefits package. Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA) Ltd is a highly successful training organisation, which operates as both a private limited company and a charity. HETA has centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

HETA is now looking to recruit a forward thinking individual focused on maintaining a high quality and efficient administrative resource that supports all aspects of the business. In order for HETA to achieve the best service to our learners and employers, we rely heavily on consistently high quality customer service.

This post is focused on providing an effective and efficient administration service to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. The Administration Manager is responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of the HETA office, all administration operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organisational effectiveness and efficiency across the organisation. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role within an educational environment and be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration. 

The successful candidate must also have:

  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Previous administrative experience within an educational environment
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills inc. written, oral, email and telephone
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to maintain confidentiality where required
  • Ability to meet challenging targets and thrive under pressure
  • Flexibility and be able to take both a proactive and responsive approach to change

A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential as there is a requirement to work across all 3 HETA sites.
