We wish to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Electrician (Electrical Engineer) to work in our Property Services Unit within a dedicated small team.  The hours of work will be 37 hours per week with a degree of flexibility required.

For this post you will need to be qualified to City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition of the Electrical Wiring Regulations, preferably qualified to City and Guilds 2392 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations and with knowledge of 3-phase installations, control panels and systems.

Work will be varied, but will primarily be planned and reactive maintenance for ‘commercial' installations in the Councils leisure centres including swimming pools, offices, shops and small industrial units and public toilets. This post will also require you to have an ability and willingness to carry out other related maintenance tasks to support the team such as domestic type plumbing, small building works, carpentry and general caretaking of our customers  

The successful candidate will be self motivated with an ability to use their initiative to solve problems.  You will need to be flexible and adaptable to ensure the delivery of Council services throughout the District.
