We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 21,400 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.
Reporting to the Director of Quality Improvement, you will lead on the development of improvements to learning, teaching and assessment in the College by working closely with Directors of Curriculum.
In particular, you will have a crucial role to play in developing and implementing the College's post-inspection plan; and leading the continuing development and use of e-learning and other technology across the College.
As an excellent organiser and communicator, you will work with a wide range of College staff and managers influencing curriculum activity and developing professional practice, including promoting the sharing and implementation of good practice within and across Curriculum Areas.
You will support curriculum managers in the achievement of their area's learning, teaching and assessment improvement activities and quality assurance targets through the provision of advice and support.
You will also have line management responsibility for the Teacher Education and Staff Development areas and a Curriculum Development Coach.
You will require experience of implementing quality assurance and developing quality improvement across Curriculum Areas, including within e-learning.
