Temporary contract for one year in the first instance
Full time - 37 hours per week term time plus eight days
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious Examinations Officer to join us as soon as possible, to provide cover for a member of staff going on shared parental leave.
This is an important and challenging role and involves close interaction with Heads of Department and other senior staff. Experience of administration, compliance and regulation will be important prerequisites. Other aspects of work will include data handling and support for our Cover Manager.
This is a full-time position during term-time plus eight additional days (which will include the public examination results period in August).
Flexibility of working hours during exam season in particular is required.
This post demands exceptional people skills and customer focused attention to detail, together with energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to go the extra mile.
The successful candidate will also have a good understanding of the education sector, a good working knowledge of ICT, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, good time management and work-planning skills and well developed interpersonal skills, plus the ability to relate well to a wide range of people.
