This role offers an Internal Communications Specialist a new challenge in a progressive customer focused organisation. The role The company is a large and successful provider of high quality affordable housing with a client base of 40,000. As the housing world is changing it is increasingly important to be able to communicate and engage with colleagues in order that they have the relevant information and support that they need to do their job effectively. On a daily basis you will be responsible for delivering engaging content through internal communication channels, both online and offline, create and edit corporate content for digital and print media, as well as ensuring the colleague intranet is accessible, up to date and relevant. You will work with the HR Team to deliver a range of innovative internal communications campaigns that align with the key messages in the Internal Communications Strategy and organise business-wide internal events for colleagues and other stakeholders as required. You will be active in supporting change communications as required and will develop and implement internal communications plans to reinforce colleagues' awareness and alignment with the Corporate Plan's objectives, values and external messaging, using fresh thinking and creative ideas and turn complex information into relevant, timely and engaging content for internal audiences. What we're looking for We are looking for an Internal Communications superstar with at least 2 years recent experience, someone who can really create an exciting buzz about communication across the business to a wide audience. You will have a relevant communications qualification , experience of co-ordinating third party suppliers and agencies, a working knowledge of collateral production and print processes, experience in the planning and delivery of internal communications and marketing campaigns and experience of using intranet content management systems. You will be highly literate with the ability to draft creative copy for editorial content, have natural ability to express communication issues concisely and produce a good standard of written work in the form of reports and briefing notes and have a sharp eye for the finer detail. What's on offer? The role comes with a salary of up to GBP28,100 and 27 days annual leave, a variety of pension schemes to join, heath cash plans and child care vouchers.
