Business Development Executive Company Profile - Business Development Executive We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a well-established and growing company based in Baldock. This position would be well suited to a candidate with a background within business development and with proven sales experience. The position will be part office and part field base dependent upon the requirements of the business. Job Description - Business Development Executive The primary duties and responsibilities within this role are to sell the company's products into existing and new markets and customers, with the aim to increase sales revenue in the business. Your main duties will include but not be limited to: Selling existing company products into existing clients, cross selling other company products when possible Selling existing company products into new clients, utilising the company database to target potential customers Identifying clients that are not already in the company database Selling new products into existing clients, identifying customer needs to ascertain which products they require Selling new products into new clients, carrying out research to identify potential new markets within which the company can also sell to their existing customers Updating the company database Delivering sales targets Attending face to face business meetings and participating conference calls International travel to meet clients as instructed Required Skills - Business Development Executive Evidenced in house sales training Demonstrable experience in a business development role Ability to develop and close sales deals Excellent communication skills Ability to interact with clients at all levels Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at short notice Ability to build rapport and develop customer relationships Excellent attention to detail Confident in the use of Microsoft Excel Experience of technical sales within manufacturing would be highly advantageous Ability to speak fluently in a European language would be highly desired Benefits - Business Development Executive GBP25,000-GBP35,000, with an OTE of up to GBP45,000 dependent upon experience 20 days holiday + bank holidays Onsite parking Working hours 8-5.30 Monday to Friday Due to the high volume of applications we are currently receiving it is unfortunate that we are unable to respond to all applicants individually.
