It is easily accessible to the M1, M25 and A406.The Community and Housing directorate provides combined services to improve the everyday quality of life of residents of Harrow, as well as focussing on the creation of long term spatial and economic futures for the borough, its business and residents. Parking Services is part of the Commissioning and Commercial division of the directorate and includes, Parking Operation, Car Parks, CCTV and Cash in Transit.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Car Park Attendant with expertise and up to date knowledge and skills in Parking Services to join the Commissioning Services team. Reporting directly to the Team Leader Parking Services - Car Parks, the post holder will work collaboratively to enhance service delivery and drive improvements in all areas of the Car Parks team operations in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with Council's systems and procedures.The post holder will take ownership, as directed, of the initiation and management of all equipment, infrastructure and customer liaison aspects of the department to achieve the aims of improved service delivery.The post holder must have a current clean, full UK driving licence.To be successful in this role you would need to have the below skills & experience:* Working knowledge of relevant health and safety/welfare legislation and approved codes of conduct.* Experience in the delivery and understanding of Car Parks service requirements* Experience of producing written and verbal reports/statements relevant to the role* Experience of working with a range of stakeholders from public, private and third party sector organisations* Proven experience in the delivery of services provided by Car Parks team* Good standard of written / verbal communication and teamwork skills* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a demanding and pressurised environmentFor additional information please refer to the Role Profile/ Selection Criteria
