One of London's largest International law firms a requires finance reporting analyst to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, working with the wider accounts team, responsibilities include; To assist on the improvements to the software and development of the firm's business support systems;Create and maintain system configuration and process documentation for finance system and other business systems;Collecting, understanding and transmitting the business requirements for projects, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans;Prepare document workflows and results of business analysis;Develop and implement functional solutions to support business requirements;Maintain business reports to support requirements and functional needs;Create and deliver system training for all users of the firm's business systems;Review and action data integrity for the finance system and solving/escalating issues;Running ad hoc queries using MS Query and SQL;Extracting data and assisting with the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external purposes. Candidates will be AAT (part) qualified have a good all round understanding of how a legal finance team operates, possess a good working knowledge of Aderant and Excel as well having had exposure to SQL and Crystal reporting. Process improvements and problem solving are a key part of this role, it is therefore essential you possess an analytical approach with high attention to detail. Alternatively the client is prepared to consider candidates with a vast background in legal accounts who are interested in moving into a systems analyst position.
