Position Description Software business are seeking a disciplined and experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Head of FP&A. As a member of the Finance team, the Commercial Finance Business Partner will be responsible for to manage the financial analysis, planning and budget control processes, for the global Sales and Partners organizations. In addition, this position will have regional responsibility in EMEA, to lead the financial support for deals structuring, working with Sales and other functions in the organization, with full understanding and impact on the quote to cash process. This person will be also involved in corporate FP&A processes such as reporting to the company board. Responsibilities: Support the Executive Head of Global Sales with all financial related decision making and act as business partner and trusted advisor to the Sales teamProvide input to Sales contracts and commercial bids review and assist business operations with RFP's and pricing proposalsManage the process of reviewing, approving and processing contracts to ensure optimal profitabilityPartner with Finance revenue recognition experts in order to ensure optimal deal structureAdvise on Insurance, risk management and partner with counsel on legal matters and assist in resolving commercial disputesProvide financial planning and analysis to the Sales organization to drive strategic plans, annual operating plans, and other business initiatives and programs.Manage and control Sales organization spending (operating and capital), staffing, and funding of Sales organization within budget guidelinesBuild, lead and manage the annual budget cost centers, and control their expensesResponsible for the Monthly forecast process and the respective managerial reportingDevelop KPIs and track trends of the Sales organization efficienciesParticipate in the month end close process. Provide comprehensive variance analysis including identification of trends, gaps and opportunity areasParticipate in preparation of presentations for Senior ManagementPlan, facilitate and implement ad hoc analysis to support decision makingServe as member of the FP&A team and be involved in preparation of corporate FP&A material for management and board meetings Desired Skills and Experience The ideal candidate is a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is focused on process improvement and has the passion to excel. Qualified Accountant7-10 years FP&A experience in software companies, SaaS highly desiredExperienced in US GAAP revenue recognitionHigh emotional intelligence - a problem solver and team playerStrong multi-tasking skills; organized and attentive to detailsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly interface with all levels of managementReady to work in a very dynamic and demanding environmentMust have a collaborative, organized, open and energetic work styleCollaborative business partner to management, experienced working with corporate Finance and FP&A in headquarters abroadAn analytical mind-set with a rigorous data-based analysis and decision making thought processAdvanced Excel skills, friendly access to ERP, CRM and EPM systems
