They strive for perfection and seek innovative and creative people to help their continued success.Hosting events at some of the most prestigious locations in London, the Executive Sous Chef will be a key decision maker and will help motivate and drive the team as a senior manager. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for the full kitchen operation and productivity of the central kitchen. Working closely with the Head Chef and Executive Group Chef, the Executive Sous Chef will manage a team of 3 sous chefs and a brigade of up to 40 during peak periods. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for the following:• Menu creation• Stock ordering• Oversee kitchen operations• Team management and training• Monitor all food safety and ISO documents• Quality and performance management Working hours are based around the needs of the business during peak periods - summer and Christmas being their busiest times where additional hours will be required - but the Executive Sous Chef will receive plenty of weekends off and a great work life balance for most of the year. Overtime is paid in lieu The Executive Sous Chef must demonstrate an excellent culinary background and hold a level 3 food hygiene certificate. The Executive Sous Chef will also need to demonstrate:• Formal training - professional chef qualification • At least 3 years solid professional experience • Strong organisational skills• Strong management qualities• A genuine passion for foodPlease forward your CV for consideration.
