Travel Operations Assistant Permanent / 40hrs pw Travel discounts and benefits 22 days hoilday plus BH GBP19k PA Denham We are currently recruiting on behalf of an amazing local company who really look after their staff. They are looking for a very good administrator who ideally has worked within the travel industry previously! My client pride themselves on customer satisfaction and need an experienced person to give the best possible level of service. You will be required to: Completing 90-day quality control checks.Printing, production and dispatch of travel documents to all customers within set time requirements.Final point of quality control on all bookings prior to ticketing and travel document issue.Booking, finalisation and reconciliation of transfers.Liaison with transportation suppliers and checking supplier invoices.Handling post-sale booking administration.Following up with customers and existing businessPrinting and dispatch of promotional materials for group and travel agency customers.Daily completion of all office mail and courier services.Maintaining supplies of stationery, document dispatch and other consumables for the office. Qualifications & Experience BTEC Level 3 or BTEC level 4 to HNC or HND, or a University degree in Travel and Tourism or a related subject is preferred.A minimum of one year's experience in a support role in a tour operator, travel agency or busy office environment is required or travel agency in-house system would be an advantage. Personal Skills Progressive learning of the different skills needed to service travel agent, direct and group customers.A demonstrated commitment to customer service.An eye for detail and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.Perform to and exceed qualitative and quantitative performance goals and standards.Efficient working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required
