Part time Finance Manager
Our small but rapidly expanding clients based near Basildon are now in the market for a Finance Manager to take responsibility of the entire finance and accounting function for the company. The role is very diverse and, as such, the suitable candidate will need to be flexible and have an excellent attention to detail. The role will involve ;•Raising invoices in a timely manner•Ensure the settlement of outstanding accounts according to contract terms by following a planned and timely system for credit control and debt collection and record all activity•Run and manage payroll including reporting and payments to HMRC•Accounts payable and receivable•Record employee mileage and expenses and allocate to projects•Bank and balance sheet reconciliations•Manage savings accounts for tax purposes•Manage credit card payments•Track monthly overheads•Manage payment and savings plans for Corporation tax•Undertake credit checks on potential new clients using Creditsafe•Manage, control and administer petty cash funds•Produce accurate and timely financial reports and Key Performance Indicators•Projected sales and project planning•Cash flow forecasting and budgeting•Monthly, quarterly and year end management accounts•Undertake other duties, which complement the accounting cycle, includingOur clients have some very exciting plans to grow their business still further so additional responsibilities kay be available in time.
