Assistant Financial Accountant

My highly distinguished and unique client based in Ashford is currently looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant for a 12 month contract position. This company is currently enjoying a period of success and expectations are that this will continue.Reporting to the Finance Manager the role will involve high volumes of reconciliations between the nominal ledger and the client ledger, bank reconciliations and supporting the treasury function. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills with experience of using spreadsheets, pivot tables and v lookups. A good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and the ability to manipulate data are desirable skills. Any progress made towards a professional accountancy qualification would be well received.
