Service Engineer

Our client is a well established business of over 25 years. They are a UK distributor of medical equipment and due to their increase in customer orders an additional Service Engineer is now required to join their busy Service Department. Duties will include calibration, service and repair of medical equipment. On the job training will be provided to broaden the successful applicant's skills and experience. No formal College training. To apply you will need to possess a good electrical/electronic background preferably to a minimum of City and Guilds level. Would ideally suit someone who has worked within the audio/visual repair trade. An ability to liaise and communicate with a variety of customers in a professional manner is paramount in this role. You will also be required to work to quality standards and procedures, whilst working in a team or on your own initiative. You must be computer literate (Word & Excel) accuracy being more important than speed with a good strength of character and ability to see things through to completion. It would be expected that you are ambitious, self motivated, well organised with a high level of attention to detail. You must hold a current driver's licence as the role will include onsite visits on a regular basis across the UK and Ireland (company van available for onsites). Overtime paid.
