Strand are proud to be working with an innovative and well established marketing company, looking to expand their reach by appointing a Business Development specialist to service INCOMING franchise enquiries and provide exceptional customer service. They seek a self-motivated, customer-orientated Business Development Executive to help realise their expansion plans. The successful candidate will take ownership of retaining and developing a portfolio of existing marketing franchisees.This role would suit an individual with marketing/ telesales / recruitment/ customer service / account management experience looking for a flexible but stable, long-term position where you can feel rewarded and valued. Overview of Duties Developing a sales pipeline by identifying new opportunities and prospectsMaintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.Plan an carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct email and LinkedIn activities).Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone and email.Build positive relationships with customers and prospects.Conduct Skype calls with prospects in order to showcase the franchise package on offer and answer any questions.Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships through planned and regular communication.Sending out necessary paperwork such as franchising agreementsAdmin duties such as ordering literature, collating franchisee training manual, helping new franchisees to complete the on-boarding process.Forecast sales targets. Company / Clients - Established company who have been in business for over 8 years and due to ongoing success have successfully launched a franchise model used by many independent marketers across the UK. Requirements You must a personable individual with a positive outlook and high focus on customer service and retention.Familiarity with marketing techniques and activities.Some knowledge of marketing An aptitude for business development.Recruitment or resourcing experience would be an advantageFriendly and approachable manorStrong presentation skills.Excellent communication skills and IT literacy.Keen attention to detail and strong organisation skills to manage your diary and pipeline.Basic understand the principles of marketing and advertising, including market sector targeting, product offer development. The Package Competitive basic salary circa: GBP15,000 (part-time)Flexible working hours (24 hours per week spread across 5 days Monday - Friday)Free ParkingUncapped commission scheme with realistic OTE of GBP21,000 per year (for part-time hours). This is the equivalent to GBP35,000 OTE full-time salary.
