BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - GBP50k salaryMy client is a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services to middle market leaders, globally with around 3,500 partners and staff in the UK and access to more than 37,500 people in over 110 countries.As a result of expansion, we are are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow the business and will lead the London Region team that drives marketing and business development activity for strategic growth areas of the firm. These include Consulting, Outsourcing, Risk and legal, as well as the core service line of Accounting and Business Advisory. Every day is different and you will have a wide exposure to the whole business.Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Execute business development plans in line with national strategy, linking in with national service line and sector leads and working with the Regional Head of Business Development and Partner group- Project manage high value tenders and provide strategic input and advice on other tenders, ensuring the proposals process is followed- Coach partners and managers through the business development cycle and help motivate and drive positive behaviours, acting as a sounding board for live opportunities- Challenge partners on their approach to BD opportunities, and proactively take responsibility addressing anyareas for improvement- Identifying opportunities to grow current client relationships through widening our service offering- Actively manage service line and partner pipelines, and ensure all opportunities and activities are recorded accuratelyWe are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities who enjoys building something from the ground up. You will have experience in a work-winning environment, ideally within a partnership structure.
