Our client is a large independent estate agency covering a large portfolio across North London. They are currently looking for a Property Manager to join their busy office in Finchley. What the role will involve Maintenance: logging maintenance reports received from tenants and instruction relevant contractors, following up with contractors to ensure works are completed in a timely manner, liaising with landlords for approval of works when estimates are received or major works are required.Monitoring rental accounts: chasing tenants for payments, updating landlord's on status of rental payments, issuing late payments.Rent guaranteed claims: completing paperwork to being claims, updating rent schedule and sending to relevant company if any payments are received/rent due increases, completing court paperwork.Return deposits: sending checkout reports to landlords and tenants, negotiating deposit returns, instructing accounts on how deposit is to be released, compiling dispute paperwork if needed, arranging works following tenants vacationProperty inspections: carrying out property inspections, preparing landlord reports in a timely manner, follow up on issues and set reminders to follow upGeneral duties: answering phones, taking payments from landlords via World pay, inputting invoices on the system, assisting office staff with queries, signing keys in/out to contractors Requirements Previous experience at as a property manager in a fast paced departmentNFOPP Level 3 would be desirableMember of ARLA would be desirableIT literate: word, excel, outlook essential, CFP & Reapit or equivalent desirableEnglish & Maths GCSE (A-C)Must have driving license Package GBP22,000 - GBP27,000 basic salary depending on experience20 day's holidayWorking hours: Monday - Friday JR Recruitment are the fastest growing property recruitment company in London, if you're looking for a new opportunity within the property sector contact the team at JR today.
