A fantastic opportunity has become available to work as a sales professional with a UK and international leading publishing group whose portfolio includes award winning global conferences, summits and events. This role is immediate and ongoing Working as an Events Sales Executive, it will be your role to secure new delegates, grow attendance and build business relationships through promoting high profile conferences and events to senior level executives in the UK, Europe, America and Asia. Events Sales Executive - Key responsibilities: Direct selling features and benefits of each event to the client databaseLiaising with the marketing team to plan on going activity for each event.Cross selling across other company eventsResearching and understanding the industry sectors you are coveringUpdating the CRM system with detailed notes on each contact and diarising follow ups.Building strong relationships with delegatesReport daily on progress and feedback on calls made to clients.Registration of delegates against weekly targets. Events Sales Executive - Key skills: Strong sales skills and experience preferably obtained within a professional B2B environmentExcellent communication skills both verbally and in writingProven ability to communicate with senior level decision makersSelf-motivated, Team player and driven to hit targetsAbility to adapt quickly to changes in a fast paced environment
