We are looking for 3 invoice finance professionals to join our Relationship Management team in the South. Areas of coverage include; Bristol, Essex and Woking. PURPOSE: To effectively manage a portfolio of clients, to maximise and balance income and risk management whilst delivering high levels of customer service. To always ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory and Hitachi Group requirements. To be the field based representative for Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance while liaising with internal stakeholders to meet both our clients and Hitachi's requirement to create a mutually beneficial relationship. To liaise with the Business Development Managers and the Take on team to carry out Take On meetings for new clients in their geographical area. Developing and managing to a credit strategy within assigned account portfolioProactively managing the facilities for each client within assigned account portfolioSetting service expectations of clients new to HCIF Use of automation of processes to improve efficienciesSecuring long term client relationships (where appropriate)Proactively manage the client relationship, seek opportunities to generate income and determine a strategy to effectively manage the risk and maximise client retention.Communicating and liaising with key external business contacts, effectively representing Hitachi Capital interests, in order to optimise business performanceWorking with the Risk team to monitor financial health and exposures of the clients within individual account portfoliosProvides support and guidance to allocated team of Client Managers and Credit ControllersCarrying out Take on meetings with new clients, explaining procedures and rules, setting clear and realistic service expectations. Shared P&L responsibility with HCIF management team for the development and achievement of appropriate key performance indicators and financial ratios Shared responsibility for ensuring department operates within agreed budgets and achieves financial targetsCross-checking integrity of financial information provided to SMT and Head of Department to ensure management systems are robust and defensibleEnsure department maintains adequate accounting and other records of activities, maintains adequate and compliant systems of controls and provides meaningful management information to SMT and the Board Working with the Senior Team to develop new opportunities and assist other areas of the division as needed to ensure the divisional plans are achievedCommunicating and liaising with key external business contacts, effectively representing Hitachi Capital interests, in order to optimise business performance PERSON SPECIFICATION Proven experience of delivering high service levels and managing to client portfolioExcellent working knowledge of the Invoice Finance industryProficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)High level of literacy and numeracy skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to plan for future business requirementsRisk Assessment skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAnalytical and Planning skillsTime management skills plus ability to prioritise workload effectivelyExcellent interpersonal skillsTarget drivenSelf-motivated, driven and able to operate autonomouslyStrong commercial acumen - ability to read and interpret company accounts
